General Notice
Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the provisions of federal data protection law (Data Protection Act, revDPA), every individual is entitled to the protection of their privacy as well as protection against the misuse of their personal data. The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

In cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect the databases as well as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification.

We point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

By using this website, you agree to the collection, processing, and use of data as described below. This website can generally be visited without registration. In doing so, data such as pages accessed or the name of the retrieved file, date, and time are stored on the server for statistical purposes without these data being directly related to your person. Personal data, in particular name, address, or email address, are collected on a voluntary basis as far as possible. No data will be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Privacy Policy for Cookies
This website uses cookies. These are small text files that make it possible to store specific user-related information on the user's device while the user is using the website. Cookies make it possible, in particular, to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of the pages, to analyze patterns of page usage, but also to make our offer more customer-friendly. Cookies remain stored after the end of a browser session and can be called up again when you visit the site again. If you do not wish this, you should set your Internet browser to refuse the acceptance of cookies.

A general objection to the use of cookies used for online marketing purposes can be declared for a large number of services, especially in the case of tracking, via the US site www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site www.youronlinechoices.com/. The storage of cookies can be achieved by switching them off in the browser settings. Please note that you may then not be able to use all functions of this online offer and/or may have to accept some loss of convenience.

Privacy Policy for SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests you send to us as the site operator, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Third-Party Services
This website may use Google Maps for embedding maps, Google Invisible reCAPTCHA for protection against bots and spam, as well as YouTube for embedding videos.

These services of the American company Google LLC use, among other things, cookies, and consequently, data is transmitted to Google in the USA, although we assume that no personal tracking takes place solely through the use of our website in this context.

Google has committed to ensuring an adequate level of data protection in accordance with the US-European and US-Swiss Privacy Shield.

Further information can be found in the Privacy Policy of Google.

Privacy Policy for Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense on this website. This is an advertising program of the company Google Inc. In Europe, the company Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) is responsible for all Google services. With Google AdSense, we can display advertisements on this website that are relevant to our topic.

Google AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant ads to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Via a cookie ID, Google records which ads are served in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed multiple times. Furthermore, Google AdSense can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a Google Ads ad and later uses the same browser to visit the advertiser's website and buy something there. According to Google, Google Ads cookies do not contain any personal information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google's server. By integrating Google Ads, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that Google will learn and store your IP address.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in several ways:

  1. by adjusting your browser software accordingly; in particular, suppressing third-party cookies will result in you not receiving ads from third-party providers;
  2. by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com", adssettings.google.com, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies;
  3. by deactivating interest-based ads from providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulatory campaign via the link www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting is deleted when you delete your cookies;
  4. by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome browsers via the link www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We point out that in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this offer to their full extent.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is a balancing of interests, according to which no overriding opposing interests on your part stand against the aforementioned processing of your personal data (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information on Google Ads from Google can be found at ads.google.com/intl/de_DE/home/, as well as on data protection at Google in general: www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can visit the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at www.networkadvertising.org.

Privacy Policy for Facebook
This website uses functions of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. When you visit our pages with Facebook plug-ins, a connection between your browser and the servers of Facebook is established. Data is already transmitted to Facebook in the process. If you have a Facebook account, this data can be linked to it. If you do not wish this data to be assigned to your Facebook account, please log out of Facebook before visiting our site. Interactions, in particular using a comment function or clicking a "Like" or "Share" button, are also passed on to Facebook. You can find out more at de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy.

Privacy Policy for Instagram
Functions of the Instagram service are integrated into our pages. These functions are offered by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram. Further information on this can be found in the privacy policy of Instagram: instagram.com/about/legal/privacy.

Privacy Policy for LinkedIn
Within our online offer, we use the marketing services of the social network LinkedIn of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland ("LinkedIn").

These use cookies, which are text files stored on your computer. This allows us to analyze your use of the website. For example, we can measure the success of our ads and show users products they have previously been interested in.

Information such as the operating system, the browser, the website you previously visited (referrer URL), which websites the user visited, which offers the user clicked on, and the date and time of your visit to our website are recorded.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is pseudonymized and transmitted to a LinkedIn server in the USA, where it is stored. LinkedIn therefore does not store the name or email address of the respective user. The aforementioned data is only assigned to the person for whom the cookie was created. This does not apply if the user has allowed LinkedIn to process the data without pseudonymization or has a LinkedIn account.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also object to the use of your data directly at LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.

We use LinkedIn Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained allow us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. All LinkedIn companies have accepted the standard contractual clauses to ensure that data traffic to the USA and Singapore, which is necessary for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the services, takes place in a lawful manner. Insofar as we ask users for their consent, the legal basis for processing is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Otherwise, the legal basis for the use of LinkedIn Analytics is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Order Processing in the Online Shop
We process the data of our customers in accordance with the federal data protection provisions (Data Protection Act, DPA) and the EU GDPR, within the scope of ordering processes in our online shop, in order to enable them to select and order the chosen products, as well as their payment and delivery.

The processed data includes master data (inventory data), communication data, contract data, payment data, and the persons affected by the processing include our customers, interested parties, and other business partners. Processing takes place for the purpose of providing contractual services in the context of operating an online shop, billing, delivery, and customer service. In doing so, we use session cookies, e.g., for storing the contents of the shopping cart.

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) (execution of order processes) and (c) (statutorily required archiving) GDPR. The information marked as required is necessary for the establishment and fulfillment of the contract. We only disclose the data to third parties within the scope of delivery, payment, or within the framework of legal permissions and obligations. Data is only processed in third countries if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract (e.g., at the customer's request upon delivery or payment).

Deletion takes place after the expiration of statutory warranty and comparable obligations; the necessity of storing the data is reviewed at irregular intervals. In the case of statutory archiving obligations, deletion takes place after their expiration.

Notice regarding data transfer to the USA
Tools from companies based in the USA are integrated into our website, among others. When these tools are active, your personal data can be passed on to the US servers of the respective companies. We point out that the USA is not a secure third country within the meaning of EU data protection law. US companies are obliged to hand over personal data to security authorities without you as the data subject being able to take legal action against this. It cannot therefore be excluded that US authorities (e.g., secret services) process, evaluate, and permanently store your data located on US servers for surveillance purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Changes
We can adapt this privacy policy at any time without notice. The current version published on our website applies. Insofar as the privacy policy is part of an agreement with you, we will inform you of the change in the event of an update by email or other appropriate means.

Questions for the Data Protection Officer
If you have questions about data protection, please write us an email or contact the responsible person in our organization listed at the beginning of the privacy policy directly.
